Article 75b — Commitments

If, during proceedings under Article 75a(2), the operator concerned offers commitments to ensure compliance with the relevant provisions of this Regulation, the AI Office may, by decision, make those commitments binding on the operator concerned and declare that there are no further grounds for action. The AI Office may, upon request or on its own initiative, reopen the proceedings where:amended by Regulation (EU) 2026/1744
- (a)
there has been a material change in any of the facts on which the decision was based;amended by Regulation (EU) 2026/1744
- (b)
the operator acts contrary to its commitments; oramended by Regulation (EU) 2026/1744
- (c)
the decision was based on incomplete, incorrect or misleading information provided by the operator concerned.amended by Regulation (EU) 2026/1744
Where the AI Office considers that the commitments offered by the operator concerned are unable to ensure effective compliance with the relevant provisions of this Regulation, it shall reject those commitments in a reasoned decision when concluding the proceedings.amended by Regulation (EU) 2026/1744

- the rule logic: every norm as a formal position, with the defeater chain that decides which exception wins
- the competency questions and their answers, every unanswered one marked as a gap and named
- the ontology: predicates bound to AISV (AI Standardisation Vocabulary) and to the definitions they depend on, exportable as JSON-LD and OWL
- the documentation: the Article 6(4) assessment record generated from a fact set, with its derivation and the version of the law it was decided against
Built for providers claiming the 6(3) derogation, for the counsel who has to defend that claim, and for the auditor who reads it afterwards.
